Georgia Steel claims Love Island was ‘fixed’ for Molly-Mae and Tommy to reach the final

Georgia Steel has voiced her opinion that this season of Love Island was edited to be favourable towards Molly-Mae and Tommy.

The former Love Islander made her comments to The Daily Star before the live final last night.

“I feel like it is the Molly and Tommy show,” she said.

“It is a bit of a shame as the other guys aren’t getting much airtime.”

Georgia was sure that the couple were going to take home the crown:

“Of course they are going to win as the audience are invested in them more than anyone else as they are seeing them more.”

However, she feels that audiences are now aware of the fact that the show is part reality and part produced – recording real reactions to produced situations.

“The edit can change so much and I feel like the audience are kind of gathering that now,” she said.

“I want Ovie to win, I really like him and I think the way he has handled himself is so real, he hasn’t been manipulated in any way.”

Last night, neither Molly-Mae and Tommy nor Ovie and India won the show – Amber and Limerick lad Greg took the crown, and split the £50k prize.
