Geordie Shore star Gaz Beadle marries fiancée Emma McVey in stunning ceremony

Gaz Beadle has finally married his fiancée Emma McVey in a stunning ceremony.

After cancelling their wedding plans due to the pandemic, the couple tied the knot at Merrydale Manor in Chesire on Friday, July 9, with 90 guests in attendance.

The couple shared exclusive footage and photos of their wedding with OK! magazine, and revealed they exchanged vows with their children Chester, 3, and 18-month-old Primrose by their side.

Gary and Emma admitted they had no choice in the matter, as their kids got a bit “overwhelmed” during the ceremony.

“There were tears – and we had to be mum and dad, first and foremost,” Gary told the magazine.

Emma confessed: “The whole event was a bit overwhelming for Chester and Primrose. They’ve not been in an environment with so many adults before, especially with lockdown and everything.”

“They were supposed to walk down the aisle with my man of honour, Joe, but they were struggling with it, so in the end Prim was carried by my dad, who gave her to Gary, and I carried Chester, who was a little upset, up the aisle.”

When asked if they said their vows while holding the kids, Gary replied: “Yeah, we had to. Remember, because of the last 18 months, they’ve only ever known our house and their nurseries, so it’s not normal for them.”

“And we’re not the sort of people who would leave them with others if they’re crying. If they want us for comfort, we’ll be there no matter what. Even if we are in the middle of getting married!”

Gary continued: “It’s all good though, we always wanted our kids at the wedding. We’d never be ones to leave them with relatives or a babysitter, we wanted them there no matter what.”

“I would’ve bet my mortgage that we’d end up holding them during the ceremony. And to be honest, seeing Emma walk up the aisle holding our son – it just made me love her even more.”
