Gemma Collins has broken her silence after her Dancing On Ice fall last night.
The 37-year-old fell face-first during the final moments of her third skate with partner Matt Ivers, but got back up and finished the routine like a pro.
The TOWIE star shared a clip of her fall on Instagram, with the caption: “Absolutely devastated and embarrassed, My heart is broken but when I went down I thought of Tyson Fury and knew I had to get back up & carry on.”
“Can’t thank you enough for your support on social media and picking up the phone to vote! Im (sic) in a lot of pain but bring on fantasy week!!!”
Meanwhile, Piers Morgan has praised Gemma once again, after he defended her last week, and said: “That took balls, I’m serious. You fall on national TV, you fall flat on your face on the ice.”
The presenter added that “she’s my idea of what a contestant should be, people saw that she’s getting better, then they saw the guts of her getting back up.”
“If you’re a professional trained dancer doing these shows, it’s fine, it’s entertaining but this is far more interesting. Watching Gemma Collins progress in this show is far more interesting to me.”
