Game of Thrones star Gwendoline Christie has revealed fans will “need therapy”, after the show finally comes to an end.

The show’s eighth and final season will premiere on April 14th, and it looks like fans are in for some seriously dramatic episodes.

Gwendoline, who plays Brienne of Tarth in GOT, told Radio Times that fans are “going to need therapy” after watching the show’s final episode.

“The show ending is going to send all of the world into professional help,” she added.

Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen in the series, also said the final season is “bigger than anything we’ve ever done.”

Game of Thrones will air in Ireland on Monday, April 15 at 2am and 9pm on Sky Atlantic.
