Ryan Hawley has welcomed a baby with his wife Daisy Prestes de Oliveira.
The actor is best known for playing Robert Sugden in Emmerdale, but the soap star quit the show back in 2019.
The news was confirmed by Ryan’s former co-star Isobel Steele, who spoke about the possibility of Ryan returning to the soap.
She said: “Me and Danny spoke about this the other day, actually. We do miss Ryan a lot. We were really close when we filmed together. When you’re filming every day, you become really good friends.”
“We do miss that dynamic and I know that the fans do as well. Hopefully they convince him to come back! He’s just had a baby, so I don’t know how soon he’d be coming back, so fingers crossed.”
Ryan and Daisy tied the knot in 2013.
