According to The Mirror Online, TOWIE star Ferne McCann’s ex boyfriend Arthur Collins has been found guilty of the acid attack that burned 14 people.

Two victims were left blind, and the other 12 were left disfigured, after the attack at Mangle Nightclub in London last April.

At Wood Green Crown Court, the 25 year old denied five counts of causing grievous bodily harm (GBH), and nine counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH).

However, he admitted to throwing the bottle of fluid over the victims, but said he did not know it was acid.

He alleged that he thought the liquid was a date rape drug, which he had snatched from two men after overhearing them planning to spike a girl’s drink.

The gallery was full of Collin’s family and friends while the verdict was read to the court room.

He was convicted on all counts on a majority verdict of 10 to two. He will be sentenced on December 19.

The footage reportedly shows Collins throwing the acid over someone’s shoulder and hitting victims right in the face then throwing it twice more on the dance floor in the club.

Collin’s sent a text to his sister a week before the attack which read, “Tell mum to mind that little hand wash in my car – acid.”

He then told the jury the “hand wash” was actually a hair-thickening shampoo containing amino acid and coconut oil which he kept in his car so Ferne did not find out about his hair loss.

One victim spoke out about the attack, saying, “There was panic and shouting and I just started crying because my face felt as if it was on fire.”

“My friends grabbed me and took me to the toilets and security gave us bottles of water to pour on our faces. Then I looked in the mirror and saw how disfigured my face was.

“The acid had run down my cheeks and burnt into my skin. I was hysterical.”
