Cheryl is back on our screens in a brand new ad campaign for L’Oreal, but some people are NOT happy about it.

The mum-of-one is slowly returning to the public eye after she took some time out following the birth of her first child, Bear Payne, last March.

Cheryl, who has been a brand ambassador for L’Oreal for years now, shared a clip of her featuring in a new advert for the brand’s Casting Créme Gloss.

Despite the fact that Cheryl looks incredible, fans were quick to point something out that left them feeling less than impressed.

Showing off her flowing hair, Cheryl says in the video, “Do you get the fear, every time you colour your hair? Fear less. Be colour safe not sorry. My colour is in safe hands.”

Although Cheryl’s hair does look fabulous, fans quickly flocked to the comments section to question whether Cheryl’s hair is completely natural, as the singer has worn hair extensions for years.

One person wrote, “Not your hair your wearing extensions such a lie…”

Another commented, “Yes you look gorgeous but THEY ARE NOT YOUR HAIR and everyone knows that!!!! #extensions…..get a product on your hair then I might buy it.”

A third person added, “I find it hard to believe a woman with all your money uses a box colour. I think it’s misleading to your demographic. Be truthful.”

However, some jumped to the defence of Cheryl, writing, “Does it really matter if she has extensions in or not?? It’s about the HAIR COLOUR not THE LENGTH!! Seriously some people are pathetic!!!!!”

Another fan wrote, “The COLOUR is natural looking. You do know this a hair colour advert… not a length advert? Focus on the product and the colour of the hair not whether she has extensions in or not.”

The singer is gearing up for a busy year, as she’s set to make a return to The X Factor.
