Fans have been left confused as Love Island contestants have been teasing a “reunion” on social media.
Earlier this week, ITV revealed that the reunion show wouldn’t be taking place this year.
The broadcaster confirmed the news to The Tab, and explained that they decided to axe the reunion due to the quality of the finale and how dramatic the final weeks were.
However, despite the confirmation, many Islanders have been posting about a Love Island reunion today.
Lolly Hart, a 30-year-old long haul cabin crew from Leicestershire, posted on her story on Wednesday morning.
Captioning the post, ” 🚝 to Len -LI reunion tonight ☺️ ✨,” the ex Islander shared a photo of her Love Island bottle.
Another Islander, Patsy Field, also fuelled the confusion by posting on her story about the reunion.
The 29-year-old shared a snap of a spray tan room on Tuesday evening, captioning the story, “Let’s get bronzed for the big reunion tomorrow 💖.”
Runner-up Nicole Samuel promised fans a look at the supposed reunion on Wednesday.
Sharing a link to her TikTok, the 24-year-old wrote, “And get the Tik tok to see behind the scenes at the reunion tonight 💖💖.”
