Liam Payne was just “looking for trouble” when he tried to goad Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Virsini, new sources have revealed.
After reports Liam “tried to start a fight” with JB in London club Chiltern Firehouse, because he wanted to “stick up for Cheryl”, sources have told Goss.ie he seemed “troubled” and wasn’t acting like he was fighting for his ex.
“It didn’t seem like he was sticking up for his ex,” our insider told us.
“It’s been two years since Cheryl and JB divorced, that’s over now, they haven’t been in each other’s lives for a long time.
“It seems like he just wanted to create trouble and his friends and entourage were there and did nothing to stop the situation.
The Sun reported that Liam never got into a physical altercation with the French businessman, with sources on his side saying he was just sticking up for Cheryl.
However the incident took place last week after he and Cheryl had already called time on their relationship.
