Ewan McGregor has been dumped by Mary Elizabeth Winstead.
The Scottish actor left his wife to pursue a relationship with his Fargo co-star.
He had only filed for divorce from Eve Mavrakis last month, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their divorce.
His 51-year-old wife was left devastated six months ago when photos of the Trainspotting star surfaced in which he was kissing Mary Elizabeth.
The news of the split was revealed in the latest editon of Star, an American magazine.
A source told Star the reason for the split was Mary’s distaste at being called a homewrecker.
“Mary hated being labelled a homewrecker and the embarrassment it caused her.”
He had four children with Eve. They range in age from 6 to 21 years old.
The source went on to comment on the state of McGregor’s love life.
“It’s sad because a year ago Ewan and his wife were in great shape and then he decided to throw it all away for Mary.”
“Now it looks like he’s lost them both for good.”
Fans have taken to commenting on his Instagram posts in disbelief with some believing it’s a ploy to get custody of his children.
