Emma Chambers has died age 53 from ‘natural causes’

Her agent confirmed that she passed away on Wednesday


Sad news broke today that Emma Chambers has passed away as a result of ‘natural causes’ at the age of only 53.

The much loved Vicar of Dibley and Notting Hill actress died on Wednesday evening.

Stars have been sharing tributes to the actress after her untimely death.

Hugh Grant commented on the “very sad news” remembering his Notting Hill costar as a “hilarious and very warm person”.

She gave us plenty of laughs starring alongside Dawn French in the Vicar of Dibley.

Dawn French has also been mourning the loss of her “talented” friend.

She posted two tributes on Instagram this afternoon.

“Lovely lady, brilliant actress. Will be missed by all.”

Emma won a British Comedy Award for Best Actress in 1998 for scenes like this that we’ll look back on fondly.
