Ed Sheeran has FINALLY revealed Divide’s release date

It's closer than you think

Ed Sheeran has finally revealed the date that his new album Divide will be released.

The singer has been teasing the album since returning from his social media and performance hiatus.

Taking to Twitter, Ed confirmed that the album will be called Divide, and that it will be released on the 3rd of March 2017.

The tweet read, “Divide out 3rd March. Pre-order will go live at midnight in your country.”

Irish fans are especially looking forward to the release, as there is a heavy Irish influence to the album.

One of his songs is called Galway Girl, and Ed told Eoghan McDermott, “It’s going to be good. I do think I’ll never be able to play another song in Ireland again because this will be the song.”

Ed is apparently going to be looking for ceili dancers when he shoots the music video.
