Eamonn Holmes has been blasted by fans for an ‘awkward’ interview with Caitlyn Jenner.
The transgender reality star joined the presenter and his wife Ruth Langford on ITV’s This Morning.
The first thing people noticed was the awkward way Eamonn greeted Caitlyn, with one fan taking to Twitter to ask, “Why didn’t he kiss her like he does with every other female guest?”
Ruth immediately went over to hug Caitlyn and gave her a kiss, but Eamonn offered just a handshake.

The presenter was also criticised for bluntly asking “is Bruce dead?”, before he said, “You’re a younger looking woman than Bruce was a man.”
The 67-year-old replied, “I’d have to agree with you on that one. I’m much more comfortable this way. It’s sometimes hard for family members but they can see my happiness.”
She was promoting her explosive new book, The Secrets of My Life, which was blasted by ex Kris Jenner as being full of “lies”.
The star is in London to attend the NatWest LGBT Awards today, which is being hosted by Alan Carr and Mel Sykes.
