Dumped Love Island star sparks hope they’ll return to the show in Casa Amor

Brad McClelland has sparked hope he’ll return to Love Island in Casa Amor.

The 25-year-old was brutally dumped from the show last week, after him and Lucinda Strafford were voted the least compatible couple by the public.

The Northumberland native took part in an Instagram Q&A on Monday, where he teased a possible return to the show.

One fan asked: “Are you going into Casa Amor?”

Brad cryptically replied: “Not that I know of, but it’s Love Island so who knows?”

Casa Amor sees the boys or girls move into separate villas with six new arrivals in a bid to shake things up.

The twist is designed to tempt the Islanders, and see if they will ditch whoever they were previously coupled up with.

In the same Q&A, Brad was asked: “Do you think you will still wait for Lucinda?”

He said: “For me, I’m not actually sure what’s happening there. But regardless, I’ll still obviously see Lucinda when she gets out. She was a big part of my journey in [Love Island] so even if it’s just as friends…”

Since Brad’s shock exit from the Love Island villa, Lucinda has been pursuing potential romances with Aaron Francis and new boy Danny Bibby.

On Monday night’s show, she decided to call things off with Danny and focus solely on Aaron, and the couple had their first non-challenge kiss.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media One and Virgin Media Player.
