Davide Sanclimenti has responded to cheating allegations made by ex-girlfriend Ekin-Su.
The television personality claimed that Davide cheated on her with a girl called Harriet Wilson after Harriet contacted Ekin-Su to tell her.
The 29-year-old alleged that at another time, Davide left his laptop open, and she saw sexually explicit messages between him and a girl she had met on New Year’s Eve.
The reality star said seeing those messages “broke something in me.”
Ekin-Su revealed she did not want to be publicly embarrassed amid the cheating allegations so did her best not to react on social media, as she also wanted to protect Davide.
She added: “I never wanted to believe the allegations against Davide but people would tell me I was being cheated on all the time. I was so scared of being alone, and I didn’t know who the hell Ekin-Su was meant to be without him.”
Davide has now responded to Ekin’s allegations and spoken out about them on Matt Haycox’s podcast, Stripping Off.
Speaking exclusively to Matt Haycox, Davide revealed there “were some messages.”
“There were some messages; of course, it was not nice to see on my phone.”
“I sought someone else’s attention because of the way I was feeling in the relationship; it was a way to escape how down I was feeling.”
“I was not feeling understood by her; by my management, I was receiving a lot of accusations by the press.”
Davide previously told the MailOnline: “If I was seeking attention, it was because I felt I was receiving artificial affection in my relationship. I am only human and have my faults. But I also deserved to have been treated fairly.”
When Matt asked Davide if the attention he received was texting, calling, kissing, or sex, Davide responded: “No, I mean she is a very jealous person. It was friendly, like I was not allowed to follow a girl on Instagram.”
Davide specifically addressed the accusation that he cheated with a woman called Harriet Wilson, admitting: “We had something in the past.”
However, he shut down the rumours saying: “She is the girlfriend of one of my bestmates, we had something in the past.”
“I think the fact I had something with this girl before Ekin, but my friend and this girl are still together.”
“Sometimes people make up stories out of nothing.”
Davide addressed photographs that were taken of him leaving a restaurant in the company of the same woman, Harriet Wilson, while Ekin-Su was filming Traitors.
“I remember when I walked into the restaurant. There were paparazzi outside. I said to my friend, “I am not with that girl, Harriet.”
“As soon as I came out of the toilet, he took a picture from the window just to show I was in that restaurant.”
“Why? because the same girl, Harriet, entered that restaurant. We were not organized, by any chance. I did not know she was coming, and she did not know I was there.”
Earlier this week, Davide hit back at Ekin’s allegations, and accused her of dragging his name and reputation “through the mud”.
He told MailOnline: “I’ve kept quiet for a long time, but if I continue to ignore the false claims being made about me, people will start to believe them. That’s never been my intention.
“All I wanted was to be left alone so we could all move on peacefully. However, my ex has repeatedly dragged my name and reputation through the mud to make herself look better and boost her own popularity. I can’t tolerate this any longer. It’s time to set the record straight.”
Davide continued: “Ekin’s comments on Abby Clancy’s podcast about our final breakup needs to be addressed. Yes, I was provoked into losing my temper, but this was because her mother was interfering in our relationship and our work life.”
