David Beckham provides a glimpse into his new talk show while teasing celebrity guests

David Beckham has given fans a glimpse into his new talk show, Beckham & Friends, while teasing some potential celebrity guests.

The football star will provide commentary on UEFA Champions League play on Paramount+ and is set to begin next month.

Taking to Instagram, he showed the show’s set for the first time and will kick start his commentary series with the game between Inter Milan and Barcelona on May 6.

David previously hinted that he will likely be joined by a different celebrity friend for each edition of his “watch party” show, with many fans speculating that these A-listers may include Gordon RamsayTom Cruise, and Ryan Reynolds.

Now, the former England captain filmed himself walking through his studio, showing a lavishly decorated set.

Smiling at the camera, he said: “So I’ve just arrived in my studio for Beckham and Friends Live, my new Champions League show and I must admit it all looks so beautiful. Very exciting!”

David wrote in the caption: “First look at the set for Beckham & Friends Live 👀 Can’t wait for the Semi Finals ⚽️.”

The Beckham & Friends altcast for CBS Sports’ UEFA Champions League coverage will be available as a new exclusive viewing option to Paramount+ subscribers.

It will stream during UEFA Champions League Semifinal Leg 2 matches and the UEFA Champions League Final.

The deal includes exclusive altcasts on Paramount+ in 2025 and 2026, where David will be “joined by his friends from the worlds of sports, media and entertainment.”

Speaking on CBS Sports’ UEFA Champions League Today show last September, the 49-year-old said: “I love watching the game, and I like watching the game in a certain way, and most of the time it is either with my kids or my friends.”

“So it’s going to be that kind of thing, where I’m sat there watching the games, commenting on the games, with friends, talking about the game and not sometimes talking about the game.”

This ventures comes shortly after David insisted that he’ll be accepting no presents for his upcoming 50th birthday – only charity donations.

With a net worth of around $450 million, the football star has decided to ask his friends and family not to spend their money on presents for him.

Instead, he has asked them to donate to a new initiative in collaboration with Unicef (the United Nations Children’s Fund) with whom he has been an Ambassador for 20 years.

A source close to David shared with the MailOnline: “David doesn’t want people to buy him something for the sake of it – he has literally everything he wants and needs.”

They continued: “He has Rolex watches, the most beautiful wine. He wants for nothing. He is at a time in his life when he is so content and so happy, but he knows that there are children across the world who really need some help and support, so it was a no-brainer.”

The former England captain just launched his own fundraising appeal for Unicef’s work to support vulnerable children – particularly to improve the lives of girls who are impacted by child marriage, female genital mutilation, violence, and abuse.

In a video promoting the charity, David said: “We are witnessing a global funding crisis where the most vulnerable children are suffering the most and urgently need our help…”

He continued: “Please support my birthday fundraiser. Next month, I turn 50. It’s a major milestone that has made me think about the opportunities I’ve had and the experiences that have shaped me.”

“As I look back, some of the moments that have had the most impact on me have come through my work with Unicef.”

“As a father of four amazing children, I know how lucky my family is to be safe and have access to education and healthcare. I’ve met children living in the toughest situations all over the world, and I’ve seen what can happen when they are given the support they need to take control of their lives.”

“Every child deserves the chance to dream. Together, we can help to make those dreams a reality. Thank you, Unicef,” he finished.
