David Beckham has finally congratulated his son Brooklyn on getting engaged.
The photographer popped the question to actress Nicola Peltz two weeks ago, announcing the news with a sweet photo on Instagram.
While mum Victoria was the first family member to confirm the news and share her excitement, a day later David finally gave his blessing.
“Congratulations to these two beautiful people. As they begin this exciting journey together we are so so happy for you guys,” he commented on their announcement post.
Brooklyn, 21, and Nicola, 25, are already rumoured to be organising two lavish weddings next year, with mum Victoria set to design one of Nicola’s dresses.
Nicola’s billionaire father, Nelson Peltz, is said to be paying for the ceremonies, but David and Victoria reportedly want to “contribute” to the costs.
Nicola’s father is set to be worth over €1 billion, so the pair are expected to sign an iron-clad pre-nup.
