Dani Dyer gets her placenta made into supplement pills and face cream following the birth of her son

Dani Dyer has gotten her placenta made into supplement pills and face cream following the birth of her son.

The Love Island star welcomed a baby boy with her boyfriend Sammy Kimmence on Saturday, before she announced the news on Instagram on Sunday.

The 24-year-old finally revealed the name of her newborn on Wednesday, choosing the unique name Santiago.

As she documents her life as a new mum on Instagram, the reality star revealed she put her placenta to good use following the birth.

Dani showed her 3.4 million followers a package she received from Placenta Essex UK, which contained capsules, oil and face cream made from her placenta.

She wrote: “Thank you so much @PLACENTAESSEX_UK for my package!”

“I always wanted my placenta made into capsules as I’ve heard amazing things but I didn’t actually know if it was as common. But it is! So happy!”

Dani shared her newborn’s name on the latest episode of her Sorted with the Dyers podcast, which she co-hosts with dad Danny.

“There’s been a lot of assumptions going on, some are actually really funny to be fair, but his name is Santiago,” she shared in the pre-recorded podcast.

“I know a lot of you are probably thinking ‘What?!’ but that is his name but we are going to be calling him Santi.”

“I think it sounds nice on the birth certificate,” she added.
