Dani Dyer has admitted she’s been “emotional” since welcoming her first child.
The Love Island star gave birth to a baby boy named Santiago last month, and has been adapting to life as a new mum.
The 24-year-old has taken part in an Instagram Q&A today, where she opened up about her first week with her newborn.
“I didn’t realise how emotional you get once having a baby,” she admitted.
“When my mum mentioned it I thought oh I’ll be fine. I look at him sometimes and well up because I can’t believe he was in my belly..”
The reality star also revealed how she was finding parenting while in lockdown, with Dani replying: “I am honestly really good.”
“Although we’re in a pandemic, I’m so glad I’ve got this time to just spend with my baby and enjoy every moment with him..”
“It’s such a special time and I still can’t believe I’m now a mummy haha,” she added.
Dani gushed about her boyfriend Sammy Kimmence, praising him for his support.
“Honestly he has been brilliant. I didn’t think I could love him anymore than I do. I never realised how emotional you get after having a baby and he always makes me laugh.”
“You’re always questioning yourself as a mummy so having a good support system is so so important.”
