Dancing on Ice skater, Matt Evers, shared a heartfelt post about his partner, Gemma Collins, ahead of tonight’s first live show.
The pair have been training together since October and it’s clear that they are already great friends, as Matt shared an emotional post about the reality star on Instagram.
The professional skater posted a snap of him and Gemma, alongside the caption: “Words cannot explain how proud I am of this human being. I hope tomorrow evening you will see how people and perceptions can change.”
“Through hard work, pain, perseverance and struggles we find ourselves. There’s no point in living our lives if we don’t want to or choose to grow. @gemmacollins1 has worked so hard over the past 3 months and in my eyes has changed.”
“No it’s not been easy… it’s ice skating for Pete’s sake but she’s learned a new skill and found a new “her”. Let’s kick some ass tomorrow night girl and have a blast,” he finished.
Just yesterday Gemma also took to Insta to thank Matt for his support and wrote: “Thank you so much @themattevers I HAVE NOT QUIT nor will QUIT I’m smothered in bruises had a bad fall today however I will be there showing you what I’ve learnt but most importantly having fun.”
