Coleen Rooney has denied reports that she spent Valentine’s Day with her husband Wayne, amid reports that their marriage is on the rocks.
Sources told The Sun that Coleen and Wayne enjoyed a romantic dinner together on Thursday, in a bid to patch things up.
However, the mother-of-four has since taken to Twitter to deny these claims, and point out that the husband was in a completely different state on Valentine’s Day.
She clarified, “One of the many things to correct …. Valentine’s meal?? On 14th feb 2019 I was in Washington and Wayne was in Florida.”

Coleen’s post comes after she was pictured without her wedding ring on in Washington, where the Rooney’s are now living following Wayne’s transfer from Everton.
The couple’s marriage is reportedly on the rocks due to Wayne’s recent boozy antics with bar maid Vickie Rosiek in Florida.
During an alleged ten-hour bender on the night of the Super Bowl, the bar girl reportedly gave him a lift to another bar, where the pair knocked back shots.
Wayne’s boozy night out with the bar maid came after he was arrested for public intoxication on December 16 at Washington Dulles Airport.
His recent antics come just 18 months after he was arrested for driving party girl Laura Simpson’s VW Beetle, while three times over the limit.
The footballer received a two-year driving ban, and was ordered to complete 100 hours of unpaid community work.
