Celebrity Big Brother was the most complained about programme of 2018

It’s official – Celebrity Big Brother was the most complained about TV show of 2018.

UK media watchdog OfCom have revealed that this year’s series had 27,602 complaints.

The show came to an end on Channel 5 this year, but after one of the most dramatic seasons to date, which saw actor Ryan Thomas wrongly accused of “punching” housemate Roxanne Pallett.

Meanwhile, ITV’s Loose Women was the second most complained about series, with 8,002 complaints in total.

OfCom revealed the majority of those complaints were related to the infamous interview with Kim Woodburn.

During her appearance on the show, she became involved in a row with host Coleen Nolan, who was later accused of “bullying”.

 

Other TV shows on the Top 10 list of most-complained about shows included Love Island, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and The X Factor.
