Caroline Flack has admitted that she “loved being engaged” to Andrew Brady and that she has no regrets about their relationship.
The presenter and The Apprentice star officially ended their on-off relationship at the end of 2018.
While their whirlwind engagement hit headlines and the pair split several times during the year, Caroline has admitted that she doesn’t regret anything about their relationship.
“I absolutely loved being engaged [to Andrew] but things didn’t pan out and that caused me pain; of course it did,” she told The Sun.
“I’m a person not a caricature. It was a sad time when I broke off my engagement and I was hurting. Just because something comes to an end doesn’t mean it was a failure – everything has its time.”
The Love Island host added that she is open to finding love again: “Heartbreak hasn’t left me disillusioned or afraid to open my heart again. I’m still an optimist when it comes to love; I always see the very best in people and situations.”
“I absolutely believe in love and there’s no better feeling than when you’re falling for someone,” she continued.
“I was so in love [with Andrew] and it all felt so blissful that I wanted the world to know. I wore my heart on my sleeve; I overshared and posted loads of pictures on Instagram. That’s a lesson I won’t forget; I must always keep something back.”
Caroline continued to say she regrets “absolutely nothing” about her time with Andrew.
The presenter’s comments come after she sparked romance rumours with personal trainer, Bradley Simmonds, as they were spotted linking arms on a night out earlier this month.
Bradley has since been seen cosying up to another woman and a source told The Mirror: “Caroline and Bradley have never been dating.”
