Cara Delevingne has revealed why she and Ashley Benson finally went public with their relationship.
Last week, the model made her romance with the actress Instagram official, almost one year after they first started dating.
Speaking to E! News at the TrevorLIVE Gala, Cara was asked why they decided to go public with their romance.
The 26-year-old replied: “I don’t know because it is Pride, it’s been 50 years since Stonewall happened and I don’t know. It’s been just about our one year anniversary so, why not?”
There’s no doubt Cara is pretty smitten with Ashley, as she gave the Pretty Little Liars star a shout-out during her speech at the gala.
She told the audience: “I also have another very special woman in this room to thank and you know who you are.”
“She’s one of the people who help me love myself when I needed it most and I really needed it. She showed me what real love is and how to accept it, which is a lot harder than I thought.”

The news comes following reports that the couple have moved in together, after Ashley “sold her house in Los Angeles”.
Cara first came out as a bisexual in 2015, and was previously romantically linked to Paris Jackson, and singer St. Vincent.
Meanwhile, it’s believed Cara is the first girl Ashley has officially dated.
