British actress Lysette Anthony has said Harvey Weinstein raped her in the 1980s.
The Hollyoaks actress has told police that the Hollywood producer raped in her in her own home, leaving her “disgusted and embarrassed.”
In an interview with the Times of London, the actress who also starred in top UK soaps The Bill and Coronation Street, said she was raped by the disgraced producer when he turned up to her house.
The Metropolitan Police had previously confirmed they were investigating a claim without naming the actress.
“He pushed me inside, rammed me up against a coat rack. He was trying to kiss me and shove me inside,” she told the publication.
“Finally I just gave up.”
The Husbands and Wives actress said the attack was “pathetic” and “revolting.”
It comes after The Academy Awards officially expelled Weinstein, meaning he can no longer be apart of The Oscars.
