Nominations for the 2016 BRIT Awards are in – and there’s plenty of talent who stood out in 2016.
The awards take place in London’s O2 on the 22nd of February this year and is famed to be one of the best award shows in Britain.
The most popular category, Best British Group, sees the year’s biggest chart toppers like Little Mix and Coldplay up against Bastille, Biffy Clyro and The 1975.

One Direction may have gone on hiatus in 2015 but again, they are nominated in a 2016 awards show for Video Of The Year in the BRITs.
Former bandmate Zayn’s song Pillowtalk has also made it into nominations for Best Single.
Legends who passed in 2016, like David Bowie and Leonard Cohen, have received posthumous nominations in their respective categories.
