Ashley Cole has reportedly sent his well wishes to new parents Cheryl and Liam Payne.
The footballer was married to Cheryl for 4 years, but their marriage ended because of claims that Ashley had been unfaithful.
The Girls Aloud singer’s ex-husband “wished Cheryl and Liam only happiness in their future. He told Cheryl how lucky her son is to have her and he always knew she’d make an amazing mum.”
A source told Closer, “The message brought her to tears and she admitted it finally felt like closure for their relationship.”

Ashley now lives in Los Angeles with his girlfriend Sharon and has a son of his own, he even posted a heartwarming message for his son on Twitter recently.
He wrote, “Everyday I wake up to the most beautiful thing I could ever dream of: a son that makes my heart melt, a son that never stops smiling, a son that can make me laugh no matter what kind of mood I’m in.
