Ashley Cain has shared an emotional tribute to his daughter Azaylia on her 8th month birthday.
The Ex On The Beach star took his baby daughter home from the hospital on Friday, after being told she may only have a few days left to live amid her cancer battle.
Taking to Instagram to mark eight months since Azaylia was born, the father-of-one wrote: “Yesterday Azaylia returned home from hospital like the fearless little lioness that she is. 🦁✊🏾”
“Today is her 8th month birthday! Happy 8 months baby! I honestly thought @therock was my hero until I spent the last 8 months with you.”
“You taught me how to be strong when I needed strength, you taught me how to smile when I am feeling sad, you taught me how to cherish every single moment – as these moments are all we have.”

Ashley’s partner Safiyya wrote: “Happy 8 months princess 👑 Yesterday we come home from hospital in the ambulance to spend quality time together ❤️”

Azaylia was diagnosed with a “rare and aggressive” form of leukemia in October, just two months after she was born.
Despite undergoing extensive treatment including chemotherapy, doctors have now found tumours in her stomach, spleen, lungs and kidneys, as well as the tumours in her brain.
