Ashley Cain says he’s ‘hurting more and more everyday’ after the death of his daughter

Ashley Cain has admitted he’s “hurting more and more everyday” after the death of his daughter Azaylia.

On April 25, the reality star and his partner Safiyya announced the death of their eight-month-old baby, who had been battling a rare and aggressive form of leukemia.

Taking to his Instagram Stories on Saturday, the 30-year-old thanked his followers for their support throughout Azaylia’s battle, and for his family now since her passing.

He wrote: “I wanted to take this time to give thanks for all of your love, care and support for Azaylia throughout her battle and still now for us as a family. I am broken and hurting more and more everyday right now.”

“But I made a promise to my daughter that I would keep her name alive by continuing to help other children, adults and their families during their own battles and I will honour that promise until I see her again,” Ashley vowed.

Ashley’s partner Safiyya also took to her Instagram Stories, writing: “You’re so beautiful I think about you all day and all night.”

“I keep looking up into the sky for signs from Azaylia. So tonight I went to see her and as I left, I asked her what she was going to do special for me in the sky tonight.”

“As I was driving I couldn’t capture this moment but it made me say out loud WOW. I had to screen record this off Molly-Mae Hague’s story and show you what I saw as she captured the moment so beautifully.”

Safiyya then shared a video of a stunning sunset that took place last night, with the sky filled with shades of red and orange.

She continued: “The purest love I have ever felt in my life is for you Azaylia. The most incredible girl, my hero, my baby, my inspiration.”

“May god protect you. My guardian angel.”
