Ant McPartlin’s mother has vowed to help her son “sort himself out”.
Christine was enjoying a holiday in Florida, that celebrated the Saturday Night Takeaway series finale, while Ant’s sentence was handed down in court on Monday but she has since returned home.
According to the Daily Mail, she believes her 41-year-old son can overcome his demons and has promised to help him.
The TV presenter was served a £86,000 fine and banned from driving for 20 months on Monday.
His sentence was the result of being caught driving drunk after he crashed his Mini Cooper.
Christine was in the car with Ant at the time of the incident.
Her vow to help the troubled star comes a day after Piers Morgan said he “does not deserve sympathy.”
