Anna Vakili’s sister has revealed Love Island bosses gave her “a lecture” over her controversial comments about Jordan Hames.
After Jordan and Anna had a massive bust up inside the villa, Anna’s sister Mandi slammed the male model on Instagram – and harshly criticised his appearance.
Speaking to BBC Radio 1’s The Reality Tea Podcast, Mandi revealed how her comments got her into a bit of trouble with ITV producers.
She said: “So I did get a call from the exec producers of Love Island and they gave me a little bit of a lecture.”
“I mean they didn’t tell me to take it off, they sort of advised me to, they said it was a bit distasteful and I wasn’t handling it in the right way.”
Mandi continued: “I tried to defend myself by saying I’m not part of the show, I’m not on Love Island. I’m not one of the cast, I’m just a normal person on Instagram, I can say whatever I want.”
“But they were like you’re Anna’s sister now, you’re in the limelight, whatever you say affects people, it affects Jordan and his family and all of this stuff.”
During her shocking Instagram rant, Mandi compared the 23-year-old to “Shrek”, and said he’s “been lying through the gaps in his teeth”.
