Andrew Brady’s ex-girlfriend has revealed that he was close to proposing to her, just months before he announced his shock engagement to Caroline Flack.
Capital FM DJ Rachael Rhodes has admitted that the Celebrity Big Brother star left her heartbroken after he “ghosted” her.
In a heartfelt blog post, Rachael claimed that Andrew had even chosen an engagement ring for her.
“My last breakup was the first one I couldn’t hide my pain for. I couldn’t put on a brave face anymore, I’d been ‘strong’ for too long,” she confessed. “I knew it was over before it was over. I was ghosted again. It was all too familiar.”
“The last time I’d seen him he described our wedding to me, told me how many kids we were having and what colour their hair would be, he told my Mum what ring he wanted to get me and again, like magic – POOF.”
Rachael was revealed as Andrew’s secret girlfriend during his appearance on CBB back in January, when her friend Mark Byron responded to a tweet from Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace questioning whether Andrew was gay.
Mark replied, “Nooo babe he’s my best friend @RachRhodes_ boyfriend!”
Andrew and Caroline announced their engagement over the weekend after just three months of dating.
