Amy Hart has revealed that she will begin the process of freezing her eggs in the coming months as a “back-up plan”.
The Love Island star got candid about her plans to have children in an Instagram Q&A on Tuesday, where she revealed she wanted children regardless to whether or not she found “The One”.
“I’ve always wanted to have kids and I’m certainly not going to let not meeting ‘the one’ stop me from having them,” the former air hostess told her 1.1million followers.
“Last year, I went to the London Women’s Clinic and had a fertility MOT done,” she explained, “I will be freezing my eggs in the next few months and will be keeping you all updated.”
One follower asked Amy: “If you freeze your eggs now, does it mean if you meet ‘The One’ you can’t conceive naturally?”
Amy responded: “No, not at all. Obviously this is just a back-up thing.
“I would love to just meet somebody and have a baby naturally that, but this is a back-up thing just in case I don’t.
“Obviously it means that if I do meet ‘The One’, if he exists, I’ve to be like: ‘So, how do you feel about kids?'”
