Amber Davies warns Love Island hopefuls to ‘think twice’ before applying for the show

Amber Davies, who was the winner of Love Island 2017, has warned villa wannabes to really think before choosing to go on the show.

The actress found fame on the reality series, after coupling up with Kem Cetinay.

While she enjoyed the whirlwind that followed the show, she has warned Love Island applicant hopefuls to “think twice” before filling out an application.

Speaking on the Jennifer Zamaparelli show on 2FM this morning, Amber explained:

“It’s a different situation now, it’s a different kettle of fish, it’s a lot bigger now than it was when I was on there.”

“Just think about it before – think twink twice before doing it.”

Amber explained that while the fame and fortune that comes from the show has major perks, there is a downside.

“Your life does change, and it changes for the better for sure, but I think the power of social media is heightened now. We all know there is so much more online bullying and it can effect you.”

“Make sure you have a strong support system – my family have been amazing, my friends have been amazing – and just remain true to yourself.”

Listen to this week’s Gosscast; where Goss.ie Founder Ali Ryan and Editor Kendra Becker are, of course, breaking down all the details of the Coleen Rooney v Rebekah Vardy drama.

Plus the girls are talking about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s war against the media, are they getting into dangerous territory?
