Adele emotionally pays tribute to victims of London terror attack during concert

Adele took a moment to pay tribute to the victims of the terror attack in London during her concert on Thursday.

The singer was performing in Auckland, New Zealand and admitted that she wished she could be back home with her loved ones in the wake of the horrific incident.

“Today there was a terror attack in my hometown of London,” Adele said. “I’m on the other side of the world and I want them to see our lights and to hear us.”

She then dedicated her song Make You Feel My Love to the British capital and the people who lost their lives in the attack on Westminster Bridge and outside the Houses of Parliament.

“It’s very strange not being home, all I want to do today is be at home with my friends and family,” Adele said. “Everyone’s fine, but there are four people that aren’t fine so let’s dedicate this to them tonight, and to my hometown.”

James Corden also delivered a moving tribute during Wednesday’s episode of The Late Late Show, saying, “It was funny watching the news today I felt a really long, long way from home.

“It’s funny, when something happens in your hometown, you don’t have a feeling of being glad that you’re so far away. What you feel is that you wish you could be there with loved ones to stand alongside them.”
