The X Factor decided to cancel Saturday night’s vote on The X Factor, due to technical issues affecting the sound.
Last night, viewers flocked to social media to express their outrage, after the audio appeared warped during Danny Tetley and Anthony Russell’s performances.
ITV were forced to apologise for the issue on screen during their performances, but fans were quick to slam the show as a “fix” because it was pre-recorded.
Very unfair on the people who’ve had the bad interference!! It’s going to affect their votes!! #Xfactor

If tonights show was prerecorded…. the person who allegedly ‘proof watched’ needs to be sacked! Poor contestants. I’d be heartbroken and humiliated! #xfactor

This is so not fair. If Danny and Anthony go home tomorrow, it’s not their fault. DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE AUDIO!!!! It’s horrendous. #xfactor

The show was filmed early on Saturday, as Robbie Williams had to catch a flight to South America.
The X Factor have since shared videos of both Danny and Anthony’s performances without any sound issues, but that hasn’t stopped viewers from sounding off online…
