The winter Love Island spin-off start date is now CONFIRMED

The first edition of Winter Love Island is set to hit our screens sooner than we expected.

Reports have claimed that the show has been confirmed to hit viewer’s screens on January 8th 2020.

The popular dating show will be two weeks shorter than the summer version, according to Express.

The new series, which will be filmed in Cape Town, South Africa, is set to air on ITV2.

Caroline Flack will return to host the series alongside Iain Stirling as the voiceover for the show.

Speaking about the upcoming series, Caroline told The Sun Online: “I literally cannot wait. It is going to be so hot. Probably the hottest one yet.”

Love Island bosses were reportedly on the hunt for “twins, goth girls and Essex lads” for the cast of the new series.
