Whitney Port reveals the infamous Paris internship scenes were FAKE

Whitney Port has revealed that no one went on that infamous internship to Paris on The Hills, and that the whole trip was staged for the show.

It was one of the most iconic moments in the hit series, as Lauren Conrad chose a boy over a trip to Paris with Teen Vogue.

When LC refused the opportunity, she was warned that she would “always be known as the girl who didn’t go to Paris” – but no one actually went to the French capital.

When she turned down the internship, fellow intern Whitney was “offered” it, and was filmed leaving for Paris in the airport.

However, Whitney has since revealed that the scenes she shot in the airport were completely set up, and she ended up turning around and going back home.

Speaking about the fake scenes, she told Vogue: “That was so ridiculous, it wasn’t an ideal situation, but I thought, okay, this is good for me because I really was pursuing a career in fashion.”

“I thought it showed that I was down and determined to do this. It was very Anne Hathaway as Andy Sachs from the Devil Wears Prada. I got dressed up in an airport look and went for it.”
