Your first look at the second season of Riverdale is here.
The hit drama – based on the Archie Comics characters – debuted a trailer for season two at Comic-Con over the weekend.
The clip shows Archie rushing his dad to hospital after the events of the season one finale, where Fred was shot at Pop’s Chok’lit Shoppe.
Archie explains to his friends what happened, and Jughead points out that he almost said something else about the hooded man, before reconsidering.

“People have grudges, people have enemies. I mean think of where we live. Fathers are killing their sons,” Jughead tells the group. “It’s entirely conceivable this was a hit.”
Archie is also shown worrying the hooded man will come back, and Pop Tate describes him as “like the angel of death”.
The thrilling clip ended with Cheryl Blossom in hospital to comfort her mother – who is bandaged head-to-toe and seems terrified of her daughter.
Riverdale kicks off its second season on October 11th. Watch the trailer and some season one bloopers below:
