BBC presenter Mike Bushell fell into a swimming pool during a live TV interview, and it’s the funniest thing we’ve seen all week.
Mike was about to interview the English swimming team at the Commonwealth Games in Australia for BBC Breakfast, but he unfortunately lost his balance – landing him straight into the swimming pool.
Starting the interview, Mike said, “I’m going to be careful because I’ve got a sound pack on,” as he entered the shallow part of the pool.
However, Mike lost his footing and ended up in the deep end – and he made quite a splash.

The swimming team burst out laughing as Mike tried to compose himself, and let’s just say it was pretty hard for everyone to keep a straight face during the interview.
“All the people here are literally on the floor,” Mike said to the camera.
The presenter later explained, “I just thought it was a little Jacuzzi or a kid’s pool. I didn’t realise there was a step there.”
