The John Lewis ad for 2016 is finally here.
The upmarket department store is known the world over for their powerful adverts, such as their 2014 tearjerker Monty The Penguin and their 2015 Man On The Moon which highlighted age awareness.
In their latest heartwarming advert, a mother and father bought their daughter Bridget, who loves to bounce on her bed, a trampoline for Christmas – but she’s not the only one who loves to bounce.
The family’s dog, a boxer called Buster, enviously watches foxes, a hedgehog, squirrel and a badger enjoy the first bounce on the trampoline the night before.
The song featured in the ad is a cover of Randy Crawford’s Someday I’ll Fly Away performed by the Vaults.
But fortunately, this ad has a happy and hilarious end.
