Vogue Williams and Nicky Byrne to host RTE’s DWTS?

Vogue Williams and Nicky Byrne are being lined up to present Dancing With The Stars.

The model and DJ competed on the show in Australia in 2012 and now has her sights firmly set on hosting when it comes to RTE later this year.

She told The Sun: “There are some secret things TV-wise I can’t talk about. I love that show but I don’t think I could be a dancer on it as I’ve already done it but I would love to host it.”

And she could be joined by former Westlife singer Nicky, who competed on the English version of the show in 2012.

Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that Ireland’s Dancing With The Stars contestants are set to be paid “significantly less” than their Strictly Come Dancing counterparts, although it is unclear how the hosts will fare.

While stars including Irish presenter Laura Whitmore will be well rewarded for competing in the BBC show, RTE’s competitors won’t have the same luck.

A source told The Herald: “I would imagine it won’t even nearly match the minimum UK fee. It has not yet been decided if the stars who are brought on board will be paid a flat fee or if there will be cash incentive to stay until the final stages. We wouldn’t have the same budget as the UK.”

Roz Purcell and Pippa O’Connor are among those tipped to take part.
