Una Healy not being lined to replace Dolores O'Riordan on the Voice of Ireland

Voice of Ireland producers have denied claims that Una Healy is set to replace Dolores O’Riordan on the show.

The Cranberries star is believed to be quitting the RTE show after being left exhausted by a weekly commute from Canada.

But show boss Larry Bass insisted that discussions haven’t even begun with stars to decide the judging panel for the next season.

“We are still in talks with RTE about a new series so it’s premature to say coaches won’t be back,” he told the Star.

It is understood that producers would plan to create a shortlist of at least ten names if Dolores does confirm she is out before concentrating on any one person.

Previously Dolores only agreed to take the job after believing her family were relocating to Ireland – however they moved back to Ireland after a few months.
