THIS is what Maura said to Greg after he won Love Island with Amber

The Irish beauty looked less than impressed when they were crowned the winners

Maura Higgins’ reaction to Greg O’Shea and Amber Gill winning Love Island last night raised a lot of eyebrows, to say the least.

After the pair were announced as the 2019 winners, the cameras panned to Maura – who seemed less than impressed by the result.

Fans were quick to assume that Maura wasn’t happy for the Limerick rugby player and the Geordie beauty.

However, it looks like Maura was simply just in shock by the result as she was very quick to congratulate the pair at the end of last night’s final.

Right before the credits rolled, Maura ran over to embrace Amber, before going over to Greg to say, “The winner is Irish!” before giving him a massive hug.

Greg is the first Irish person to win the ITV2 show, which is a huge surprise as Irish viewers can’t participate in the show’s public votes.

The eight finalists are currently in lockdown at a secret location in Mallorca, as bosses help prepare them for re-entering the outside world.

After returning to the UK, all of this year’s Islanders will reunite for the Love Island reunion this Sunday with Caroline Flack.
