The Love Island Christmas reunion is OFF this year, and here’s why

The Love Island Christmas reunion is cancelled this year.

In the reunion, the summer Love Island contestants link up for one last show all together at Christmas, four months on from their stint in the villa.

The show is not a regular feature, and only began last year, but many fans loved the show as it gives closure to unfinished storylines from the summer series.

However, the show is not going ahead this year as Love Island bosses focus on the new Winter Love Island.

“The reunion hasn’t been cancelled, as it isn’t a regular thing in the Love Island calendar,” a source told The Sun.

“Everyone around the show is super excited for Winter Love Island and can’t wait to watch the action in the New Year.”

The new series is set to begin on January 8th 2020.

The Winter edition is set in Cape Town, South Africa, with a whole new cast of love-seekers.

Caroline Flack has already touched town in Africa to begin filming intro scenes for the show.
