The Fall actress Aisling Franciosi has insisted that Jamie Dornan can act – and isn’t just a “pretty face”.
The TV star told Goss.ie that even she fancies her co-star, who recently bagged the role of Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey.
But Aisling feels that starring in the RTE show before getting the part has shown he really is a “brilliant actor”.
“There’s no denying that Jamie is extremely good looking,” she said.

“I think The Fall really proved that he really is a brilliant actor he’s not just a pretty face and I think that was really great for him.
“I think he really proved his critics wrong I think they really realised this guy can act, and it’s been great for him as well.”
Now Aisling is hoping that having Jamie starring in the biggest movie of next year will massively boost The Fall’s audience.

“The  reaction to the show was amazing, before it came out I thought, ‘Oh I wonder how people are going to react to it’,” she said.
“And obviously it was a huge success and it’s really starting to gain momentum now, particularly since Jamie has been cast as Christian Grey.
“You know being cast as Christian Grey will probably bring an audience that we might not have had previously.”
