AJ Pritchard is reportedly in talks to appear on the next series of I’m A Celebrity….Get Me Out Of Here!
According to The Sun, the 25-year-old is keen to show a new side of his personality by entering the jungle later this year.
A source said: “AJ has a huge fanbase from Strictly and he’s really grateful for the opportunity it afforded him but he is keen to show people that there is a lot more to him.”
“He is desperate to show his personality and that he is strong in other ways, he’d love to throw himself into Bushtucker Trials.”
“Bosses think he would be a great addition to the cast and it always helps to secure a heartthrob as it draws in much-needed younger viewers,” the insider added.
The news comes after AJ sensationally quit Strictly Come Dancing last month after four years on the show.
According to reports, Strictly bosses were blindsided by AJ’s departure, which came just weeks after Kevin Clifton quit the show too.
The pro dancer quit the show as he wants to pursue his dream of being a TV presenter, and he hopes to be the next Ant and Dec with his brother Curtis.
