Bill Bailey has been announced as the seventh celebrity contestant for the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing.
The popular comedian joined the line-up this morning, and admitted he was “delighted” to be taking part.
Bill said: “In these strange times we’re living through, it feels right to do something different and take on a new challenge.”

“So I am delighted to be a part of this year’s unique Strictly Come Dancing. My late mum Madrin would have loved it – I hope she’ll be watching,” he added.
A host of other stars have already been confirmed for this year’s series – including The Wanted star Max George, Good Morning Britain presenter Ranvir Singh, BBC Radio 1’s Clara Amfo, actress Caroline Quentin, and former NFL player Jason Bell.
World champion boxer Nicola Adams has also joined the line-up, and is set to make history by being a part of the show’s first same-sex couple.
