Rachel Wyse is expected to be confirmed as Sky’s face of GAA within the coming week.
The TV presenter is the only Irish face on Sky Sports News and just signed a new three year deal with the channel.
Now Sky – who are set to confirm they have bought a chunk of the GAA TV rights next week – are getting ready to make the 28-year-old their face of the sport.
Both Rachel and Sky were staying quiet on whether a deal had been struck, but insiders revealed an announcement is imminent.
It would mean that viewers will have to now pay to see some of this year’s All Ireland championship games – including two quarter-finals.
