The highly anticipated third season of Sex Education finally landed on Netflix last week, and it is currently the number one trending series on the streaming giant.
The TV series stars Asa Butterfield as Otis Milburn and Emma Mackey as Maeve Wiley, and follows the teenagers of Moordale secondary school as they try to navigate their sexualities and everyday teenage life.
The third season picks up after a shocking season two finale where Otis confesses his love to Maeve, only to have the voicemail deleted by another man fighting for her affection.
Viewers have been taking to Twitter to react to the new season of the hit show, with many describing the third season as “the best yet”.
One fan tweeted: “Sex Education did it again with series 3! Absolutely beautiful series, the disability and non binary representation was stunning. Truly a masterpiece for LGBTQ+ youth and disability representation!”
Another wrote: “Sex Education continues to behave like the masterpiece it is.”
A third penned: “I just think this show is one of the best TV shows right now. Period.”

one of the best things about #SexEducation has to be maeve’s and aimee’s friendship — they’re so different, but they push each other to learn, grow and become better people, while also having each other’s backs

I like how they don’t just drop out the secondary characters from previous seasons and keep them on to have their own developments #SexEducation
